Virtual H3 Horseman’s Classroom:

From Barn to Border: Legal Horse Travel Made Simple
🎤 Featuring Guest Speaker Tamara Miller, Vet Tech at Animal Medical Center Emmett, ID

Hauling a horse comes with more responsibility than just hooking up the trailer. In this H3 Horseman’s Classroom, Tamara Miller will break down the essential paperwork and legal requirements for transporting horses both in-state and across state lines.

This education workshop covers health certificates, Coggins testing, brand inspections, and common travel situations that often catch horse owners off guard. Participants will learn what documents are required, when they’re needed, and how to avoid unnecessary delays, fines, or last-minute stress while hauling.

Ideal for riders who travel to lessons, shows, rodeos, clinics, or trail rides and want to feel confident they’re doing it right — before they ever leave the barn.

  • Hosted as part of the H3 Horseman’s Classroom

  • Educational, Presentation-based with Q&A format

  • Open to youth and adult horse enthusiasts

******* THERE WILL BE PRIZE DRAWINGS AT THE END OF THE WORKSHOP! *********************
