  • Bidding opens on 01/05/26 at 8:00am and closes on 01/19/26 at 8:00pm. All bids must be placed before the closing time to be valid.

  • Yes, all bidders must pre-register before placing any bids in the Idaho Horse Council Stallion Breeding Auction. Pre-registration helps verify bidders and ensures a smooth, secure auction process.

    🗓️ Pre-registration opens December 15, 2025.

    Once your registration form is received and approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions for the online auction.

  • Click on the stallion you’re interested in and to place a bid, simply fill out the bid form located at the bottom of the page.

    Once submitted, your bid information — including your name, bid amount, and submission time — will automatically appear in the live bid tracker below the form. This allows everyone to follow bids in real time.

  • If you are the winning bidder, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to complete payment. Once payment is confirmed, you’ll be connected with the stallion owner to arrange breeding details.

  • The winning bid covers the stallion’s booking fee only. All additional expenses — such as mare care, artificial insemination services, shipping, or other breeding-related costs — are not included and will be arranged and paid directly to the stallion owner.

  • No, all winning bids are final and non-refundable.

    Breedings are offered to the winning bidder only and are non-transferable, unless the stallion owner gives written consent.

    Please review each stallion’s specific breeding contract for details on collection fees, mare care, and booking policies.

  • Contact information for each stallion owner is provided in the listing if you wish to arrange a visit or learn more about the stallion.
